’68, Open Hand, Etc. Drop Off 2021 ‘Furnace Fest’, Silent Planet Added

This year’s ‘Furnace Fest‘ have announced the departure of Open Hand, Misery Signals, ’68 and Light The Torch from the bill. Replacements for each vacated spot are being lined up. Furthermore, Silent Planet have newly been added to the September 24th date of this year’s fest.

A statement issued by the ‘Furnace Fest‘ organizers reads:

“We are sorry to share that Open Hand, Misery Signals, ’68, and Light The Torch will not spend the weekend of September 24th – 26th with us. We’re actively working to confirm additional bands to bring our lineup back to 90 total artists.

Super thrilled to welcome Silent Planet to our Friday lineup, and we’ll have more bands to announce soon.

This year’s ‘Furnace Fest‘ will take place September 24th to 26th at the Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, AL. Misery Signals previously commented on their decision to withdraw from the bill. Light The Torch also decided to scrap their fall touring amid safety concerns.

’68 will be missing the festival in light of several of their shows with Korn and Staind being rescheduled.
