As Cities Burn To Replace Glasseater At ‘Furnace Fest’, Plan “Son, I Loved You At Your Darkest” Performance

As Cities Burn have announced that they will be playing their 2005 debut album “Son, I Loved You At Your Darkest” in its entirety at this year’s ‘Furnace Fest‘. The group will be performing the album during the opening date (Friday, September 24th) of the fest.

Their addition to the fest comes in the wake of Glasseater having withdrawn from the bill. The organizers of ‘Furnace Fest‘ commented:

“Due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control, Glasseater will sadly not be performing at Furnace Fest. We will deeply miss them and appreciate so much their willingness even to consider reuniting for us.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Julio for a speedy and complete recovery. Love to each of you!

In addition to re-adding the legendary  on Saturday, we’re honored to welcome As Cities Burn to the Friday line-up for a spectacular set – Son I Loved You At Your Darkest – performed in full!”

This year’s return of the ‘Furnace Fest‘ will be held September 24th to 26th at the Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, AL and feature sets from the likes of Underoath, Killswitch Engage, Converge, Every Time I Die, Poison The Well, From Autumn To Ashes and many more.
