Recording sessions have officially begun for Vio-lence‘s next release. The band’s current full-length outing is 1993’s “Nothing To Gain“, which was originally tracked just over 30 years ago back in 1990.

The reunited outfit have been tracking the effort at Trident Studios in Pacheco, California with Juan Urteaga (Machine Head, Testament) behind the boards. Guitarist Phil Demmel (ex-Machine Head) has shared some footage and more from the sessions, offering the following update yesterday, January 20th:

“It’s been just over 30 years since we’ve recorded an album together. I never thought this would be happening and that anyone would even care after so long. All of the support is so appreciated and we hope you enjoy the 5 new songs we are tracking. Perry is working hard on his tracks and we’ll start guitars next week. Going to be fun. Thanks again for joining us on this ride.”
