A five-day virtual trial recently concluded in regards to Whitney Johns‘ claims of domestic violence having been committed against her earlier this year by her now former boyfriend, Bad Wolves frontman Tommy Vext (né Tommy Cummings).
In court documents that were revealed earlier this month, Johns detailed her allegations against Vext, citing four incidents that she said occurred throughout the first half of this year in which she claimed that Vext struck her on several occasions, choked her and more, while also threatening her life.
Vext for his part initially dismissed Johns‘ claims as “fake news” and later went onto label Johns‘ allegations as an elaborate “extortion attempt”, equating it in part to “cancel culture”.
While Johns was initially granted a temporary restraining order against Vext this past April and saw various extensions to it added in the time since, the aforementioned trial saw the Superior Court Of California grant Johns a two-year domestic violence restraining order against Vext. MetalSucks, who have been closely following the court proceedings, have some more details from this latest development, including part of a statement from Johns‘ attorney. You can find that here.
