Fear Factory Share Footage From New Album Sessions

Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares has shared some footage from the work taking place for the band’s forthcoming tenth studio album. That record has already been the center of some controversy, most recently after frontman Burton C. Bell commented that it was a ‘scam’ and that he was not involved with the GoFundMe campaign to complete the record.

Cazares has since clarified that Bell completed his parts for the album in 2017 and that the funds for the campaign will go towards the post-production work, including live studio drums by Mike Heller, mixing and mastering and more.

Work on the album recently resumed after this year’s resolution of the decade-long legal dispute between current and former members in regards to the band’s trademarks. The details of said resolution have not been publicly revealed.

Bell announced the existence of the album (then titled Monolith“) several years back, but word of its release was quickly refuted by Cazares at the time. It is unclear if this revised version of it featuring new contributions from Cazares, Heller and several guest keyboardists/samplers will retain that previous title.
