Mr. Bungle

Mr. Bungle To Release ‘New’ Track This Week As Part Of Bandcamp’s Benefit Release Plans

As they have done in the past, this Friday, June 05th, will see music retailer once again waive their revenue share for all sales made via their platform. While the service initially partook in this gesture to benefit artists struggling amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the ongoing tensions across America have seen some of the artists/labels involved instead opt to donate their profits to causes related to racial justice and change.

Additionally, Friday, June 19th, will find Bandcamp donating 100% of their revenue share to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.

As for this Friday’s coming event, a ‘new’ track from Mr. Bungle is among the scheduled releases. That band entered the studio earlier this year to re-record their 1986 demo, “The Raging Wrath Of The Easter Bunny“, along with a number of covers and rarities from that era. Others lining up benefit releases for this week include:

  • Brutal Panda: Releasing charity comp featuring Moon Destroys, Ruby the Hatchet, Kowloon Walled City and many more, with proceeds being donated to Campaign Zero.
  • Dark Descent: Donating 25% of all sales to The Place, an outreach program for homeless young people.
