Static-X Delay New Album To July, Debut “All These Years” Music Video

Static-X‘s forthcoming album “Project Regeneration Vol. 1” has been delayed from its original May 29th release date to July 10th (digital/CD) and August 14th (vinyl). The delay comes about due to manufacturing delays amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The band’s surviving classic lineup or Tony Campos, Koichi Fukuda and Ken Jay built the songs around unreleased studio recordings left behind by the band’s late frontman/guitarist Wayne Static.

To help ease the wait, the group have released a music video for their new single “All These Years“. The clip was co-directed by the band’s mystery frontman Xer0 (reportedly Edsel Dope of Dope) and Matt Zane of Society 1. Ken Jay said of the clip:

“It’s very challenging to represent someone in a music video, who is no longer alive, but that was something that we really wanted to do and I think it came out great. These are some of Wayne’s last works, so we really wanted to make this video all about him and to continue to celebrate his life and legacy. What better way to do that than through a fun, fictional story about how Wayne was inspired to become the legend that who he became through Static-X.”
