Ghost concluded their touring cycle for their latest album “Prequelle” with a show tonight (March 03rd) at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, Mexico. As is often the way with Ghost, the end of an album cycle also spelled the end of a character key to the band. This time around it was Papa Nihil, who passed during a performance of the band’s track “Miasma“, leading to Cardinal Copia‘s elevation to become Papa Emeritus IV. The band are expected to now shift their full focus on a new album expected to arrive in 2021.
