Members Of Mötley Crüe Are Working With Trainers And Nutritionists To Get In Shape For 2020 Touring

The controversy of Mötley Crüe being set to return to active duty next year after having already wrapped up what was then billed as their farewell tour several years ago aside, there’s also some other concerns to found in regards to the band’s reunion.

Among them are frontman Vince Neil‘s weight gain and seemingly diminished performing capabilities in recent years and the health of guitarist Mick Mars who suffers from a chronic form of arthritis.

According to an interview with the band’s longtime manager Allen Kovac conducted over at, steps are already being taken to ensure everyone is healthy and able to perform to the best of their ability by the time their summer tour rolls around. He commented:

“Some of them are working with a trainer, some of them are working with a nutritionist to make themselves the best they can be. The greatest insecurity for an artist is: Is anyone going to care about my music? Is anyone going to buy a ticket? We were in November when the discussions were happening, and these guys were already into regimens of how they get ready for a tour.”

Speaking of the criticisms Neil himself has faced over his appearance and performances lately, Kovac replied:

“Let’s see what Vince sings like and looks like when the tour goes out.”
