It Looks Like The Original Misfits Are Teasing A Philadelphia Show

Last month The Original Misfits frontman Glenn Danzig was interviewed at the red carpet premiere for Rob Zombie‘s latest film ‘3 From Hell‘. During that interview he cast some doubt on any potential future new shows from ‘The Original Misfits‘ reunion run.

When asked about the possibility of more shows from the outfit, Danzig replied “no more Misfits shows except for MSG.” With that Madison Square Garden show having taken place this past weekend, many took it to mean that the reunion run was over altogether.

However, it would appear that things may have changed as another show from The Original Misfits is currently being teased. Live Nation Philadelphia shared the following teaser yesterday (October 21st), featuring the mascot of the Philadelphia Flyers, the Misfits skull logo and the date of 12.14.19.

As such, it would seem that the outfit are booked to perform at the Flyers‘ home base of the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA on December 14th. The Original Misfits‘ reunion run is widely thought to be the result of a legal settlement struck between Glenn Danzig and Jerry Only. The pair were initially rumored to have agreed to perform no fewer than ten shows together and have since met that obligation.
