Horror punk legends the Misfits have newly scored a trio of gold singles in the United States. The band’s tracks “Last Caress“, “Hybrid Moments” and “Dig Up Her Bones” have all newly been certified gold by the RIAA as of January 28th. While Misfits remain highly influential, these latest certifications follow the band’s lone gold-certification to date, which was handed down back in April of 2008 for their 1996 self-titled box set. After years of estrangement, key members of the band reunited back in 2016, performing a series of shows since under the banner of The Original Misfits.

*A platinum album/single in the United States represents 1,000,000 units, while gold signifies 500,000 units. Outside of traditional physical/digital sales, the certifications factor in digital streams/downloads with 10 permanent track downloads counting as 1 unit and 1500 on-demand audio/video streams from a particular album also counting as as a unit. 150 streams of a song also equate to a track-equivalent unit.
