Howard Jones Says Blood Has Been Shed May One Day “See The Light Of Day”

When vocalist Howard Jones and drummer Justin Foley left Blood Has Been Shed behind to join Killswitch Engage back in 2004, it seemed the door on the band was closed shut. As it turns out, there may still be some kind of a future for the band, though it likely won’t include new music. Jones of course has since left Killswitch Engage and now spends his time fronting Light The Torch, while Foley remains a member of KSE.

In a new interview with the ‘BREWtally Speaking Podcast‘, Jones was asked about Blood Has Been Shed and if their long-rumored album would ever see a release. He responded:

“That music, I don’t know if it’ll ever see the light of day. Doesn’t mean Blood Has Been Shed won’t see the light of day.”

When asked if the album even existed, he replied:

“It’s been a long time since that music has really been discussed, but there have been discussions, and I’ll just leave it at that.”

Speaking about the continued fan interest in Blood Has Been Shed despite fifteen years of inactivity, he said:

“It’s one of those things where at times this thing’s been dead and buried, but then little sparks will happen here and there, so who knows eventually we may get on the same page.”
