A documentary helmed by Penelope Spheeris (‘The Decline of Western Civilization‘, ‘Wayne’s World) on the 1999 ‘Ozzfest‘ has been making the rounds lately after surfacing online. Titled ‘We Sold Our Souls for Rock ’n Roll‘, the film saw some limited screenings in 2001 but was never widely made available.
It was short primarily during the aforementioned 1999 run of the then annual ‘Ozzfest‘ with that year’s lineup boasting the likes of Black Sabbath, Rob Zombie, Deftones, Slayer, Primus, System Of A Down and more.
