The World We Knew Reunite, Plan New Album & Share Rarities Compilation

The World We Knew have officially announced their reunion with plans to have a new album out before the year’s end. That’s not all they have going on though as they also digitally re-released their previous record “To The Wolves” in celebration of its 10th anniversary, complete with a vinyl pressing. On top of that, a new 9-song collection of demos & rarities titled “XV (Demos & Rarities)” has newly been made available via streaming music services.

Vocalist Frank Fanelli commented of the band’s return:

“The funny part about being in a band is that there’s simplify no real rules or guidelines. When I started TWWK in 2004, I was a sophomore in High School, and we went full throttle for 9 years straight. Countless tours, 3 full lengths, a bunch of labels.. and honestly we broke up because we were burnt out, poor as hell and spinning our wheels.

Now that we’ve hit the 10 year mark of our CD “To The Wolves”, we’re re-releasing it back on the world DIY style.. but also for the very first time on vinyl too (limited to 300 made)! On top of that, you’ll find a new Demos and rarities CD on all the streaming platforms which basically contains a few unreleased songs that you’ve definitely never heard and demos dating all the way back to when we were kids.

Finally, to celebrate 15 years of The World We Knew, we ARE going to release a brand new record before the year is over featuring some new members AND some old members. So I promise we’ll see you soon. Happy 15 years!

Frank TWWK”

The group originally parted ways following a farewell tour back in 2013.
