The Armed’s New Song “Ft. Frank Turner” Seems To Revel In Trolling Frank Turner & Frank Carter

The Armed released a new song titled “Ft. Frank Turner” today (June 05th) via the ongoing ‘Adult Swim Singles‘ series. You can check the track out right now over at, but it certainly hasn’t emerged without some controversy.

Musician Frank Turner has issued a statement to Stereogum regarding the song, claiming it features a portion of vocals from an unreleased demo of his, commenting “I was not at any point aware this was happening, don’t know the band personally (though I am a casual fan), and didn’t clear this.”

The band themselves seem to be playing up that fact, in part posting via social media “CHECK OUT OUR NEW-ASS, 80-SECOND LONG-ASS, RIDDLED WITH UNCLEARED SAMPLES-ASS SONG ‘FT. FRANK TURNER’…”

The Armed also posted the following statement to the aforementioned publication regarding Turner‘s involvement and concerns “It saddens us to hear that he’s upset about the song. We’ve been big fans of Gallows for a long time.”

While Frank Turner was not a member of Gallows, Frank Carter, who appears on the cover of the single, previously was. According to the band, a music video for the song will arrive tomorrow:
