Staind vocalist/guitarist Aaron Lewis cut his show short at The Criterion in Oklahoma City, OK last night (March 09th) after becoming upset with some unruly members in the audience. Lewis was attempting to play an acoustic rendition of Staind‘s “Intro” to close out the set and at one point stated:
“Listen, if you don’t shut the fuck up, you can’t even hear the guitar. So shut up. I’ve got three more fucking minutes — three. Can you please for once…?

He later started to strum his guitar and offered:
“It’s so fucking ironic that this fucking song is a ‘thank you,’ and I can’t get you to shut the fuck up to hear it.”
After eventually singing the opening verses to the song as members of the audience continued to talk, he put his guitar down and stormed off stage, throwing his cup from the stage. Footage of that incident can be found below.
Lewis has a long history of being combative with audiences he feel are disrespectful, including this incident in Pharr, TX last month and these incidents in Indiana last December.
