Mastodon guitarist Bill Kelliher has shared a conversation the band recently received via their social media from a woman claiming that the group had scammed her son out of a job after sending him on a “wild goose chase.” However, while not entirely clear, it would appear that the woman may have actually been been meaning to be lashing out at the Mastodon social media platform—a venture unrelated to the band sans some apparent inspiration for a name.
The band shared the below screencaps of their colorful conversations with the woman regarding that.
