Metallica have released an official live video of their acoustic performance of “Enter Sandman” from their acoustic set at The Masonic in San Francisco, CA that took place on November 03rd, 2018. The group were joined onstage that night by Avi Vinocur on mandolin/backing vocals, David Phillips on pedal steel, Henry Salvia on keyboards and Cody Rhodes on guest percussion.
That show served as a benefit for Metallica‘s own All Within My Hands charity and raised $1.3 million for it along with an accompanying auction. The entire set saw a release on vinyl today, February 01st, as “Helping Hands…Live & Acoustic at The Masonic“. All proceeds from the album will go towards the band’s aforementioned charity.
