Chris Cornell‘s former bandmates in Soundgarden, Temple Of The Dog and Audioslave will take to the stage for an upcoming tribute show to the legendary late rock singer. That show has been billed ‘I Am The Highway: A Tribute To Chris Cornell‘ and will be held at the Los Angeles Forum in Inglewood, CA on January 16th, 2019. The Foo Fighters, Metallica and Ryan Adams—or at least members of—are also on the bill. Jimmy Kimmel and special guests will host the event.
Proceeds from the concert will go towards the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, November 16th at 10am PST/1PM EST via this location.
A self-titled Chris Cornell career retrospective collection will be released this Friday, November 16th. Cornell himself tragically took his own life back in May of 2017.
