Machine Head vocalist/guitarist Robb Flynn appears in a new episode of Revolver‘s ‘Rise Above’, discussing his past struggles with self-harm, bulimia and drug/alcohol abuse. Flynn experienced the worst of that during the earlier stages of Machine Head‘s career and eventually sought therapy, channeling much of the emotional turmoil that followed into the band’s divisive 1999 release, “The Burning Red“.
