Much like the European leg of their upcoming touring, dates have begun to sell out for As I Lay Dying‘s North American trek. The band have announced that their shows in Phoenix, AZ, Dallas, TX and Pomona, CA have all sold out in advance.
The tour is set to to take place this fall and will serve as the band’s first run back since their frontman Tim Lambesis was released from jail. Lambesis infamously went to prison back in 2014 after having pled guilty to a charge of solicitation of another to commit murder. That charge stemmed from him having attempted to hire a hitman to kill his wife in 2013. He was paroled in December of 2016 with the band having officially announced their reunion earlier this year.
The group’s reunion has been a divisive topic in the metal world with some having forgiven Lambesis, while others are vehemently opposed to his return.
