Sad news has been making the rounds on social m edia as former Primer 55 vocalist Jason “J-Sin” Luttrell is said to be in very poor health with friends and family stating he is not expected to make it through the day. Luttrell has been battling illness for a number of years, having launched this crowdfunding campaign back in 2016 to help with his health issues.
At the time Luttrell had been having complications from Hepatitis C which he revealed that he received at a young age in a blood transfusion. He also stated at that time that he was awaiting the diagnosis of nodules on his liver that were suspected of being cancerous. It is unclear how that diagnosis went.
In a non-public statement recently shared on social media via his family, it was revealed that he was in ICU and that his family were coming in for what could be a final goodbye. His former bandmate Josh Toomey spoke of the news via Facebook, offering:
“Not hearing good things about Jason Luttrell and his health. People close are saying he won’t make it through the night. Glad we reconnected and glad we got to share the stage together. Thanks for the opportunity to chase my dreams. #familyforlife #primer55″
