Guns N’ Roses’ Recent Teasing Appears To Be A For A ‘Locked N’ Loaded’ Anniversary Edition Of “Appetite For Destruction” (Updated)

A since deleted unboxing video for the set leaked early and shared some details of what to expect from it. 73 tracks are to be included in the elaborate box set, 49 of which are previously unreleased. In addition to a remastered version of the original album, 25 unreleased songs from the band’s 1986 sessions at Sound City will be included, as will two from their recording sessions with producer Mike Clink. The group’s early EP “Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide EP” will also be featured. A super deluxe version also boasts a 96-page book with photos from Axl Rose‘s personal archives and more.

It looks as though it’s time to pour cold water on any potential Guns N’ Roses “Appetite For Destruction” era lineup reunion touring. A photo that emerged on Reddit has allegedly spoiled the band’s plans in advance with a 30th anniversary edition of the band’s 1987 debut album “Appetite For Destruction” appearing to be the big reveal. The expanded edition of the album will apparently arrive on June 29th and has been dubbed the ‘Locked N’ Loaded’ edition. If the below image is genuine, the new edition of the album will be remastered and feature expanded bonus material.

The aforementioned gnr.fm website also appears to be broadcasting clips of alternate versions of songs from the album. Meanwhile, former drummer Steven Adler has stated that he has not been approached about any potential touring and believes the campaign is for a box set edition of “Appetite For Destruction“. An official announcement is expected tomorrow night at 9pm.
