Ozzy Osbourne has given an interview to Rollingstone.com regarding his newly announced final world tour. As was stated in the official press release, Osbourne will still continue to play scattered dates in the years to come. He commented of that:
“I’m not retiring. It’s ‘No More Tours,’ so I’m just not doing world tours anymore. I’m still going to be doing gigs, but I’m not going on tour for six months at a time anymore. I’d like to spend some time at home.”
He continued:
“I’ve experienced fantastic things; it’s been an incredible journey. I just need to slow it down a little. I enjoy being a grandfather, I don’t want to go through another generation of Osbournes without seeing them grow up.”
Later in the chat Osbourne stated that he may get to work on a new album upon completion of the aforementioned tour, saying that he has around 8-9 song ideas in the works.
