Woman Accuses Suicide Silence’s Eddie Hermida Of Sexual Misconduct

Suicide Silence/All Shall Perish frontman Hernan “Eddie” Hermida is among the latest artists to face allegations of sexual misconduct. A woman named Verena Celis has publicly accused the singer of maintaining an emotionally abusive sexual online relationship with her while she was 17 and he was 32. Some of the tweets she shared in her public accusation can be found below:

Though she deleted her original statement after a negative backlash, she later posted it online again and it can be read below. In it she alleges that Hermida initiated the sending of nude photographs to each other while she was 17 and he was 32. She alleges that Hermida had thought she had turned 18 at the time.

She also went on to provide various logs of her interactions with Hermida on her Twitter. Furthermore, she claims that other females have reached out to her citing similar behavior by Hermida.

It is unclear precisely as to where the woman was residing during the time of her interactions, though it would appear she was in Belgium. If so that would legally put her over the age of consent, which is 16 in Belgium.

Hermida does not yet appear to have publicly responded to the allegation.
