Settlement Not Reached In Initial Court Meeting For Ghost Legal Dispute


Four ex-members of GhostSimon Söderberg (Alpha), Mauro Rubino (Air), Henrik Palm (Ether) and Martin Hjertstedt (Earth)—and current frontman Tobias Forge (aka Papa Emeritus) were unable to settle their legal dispute in a Linkoping, Sweden court yesterday, November 13th.

A report on has word that both Söderberg and Rubino appeared in court along with their legal representative Michael Berg. Forge himself was not present with his legal representative Ann-Charlotte Söderlund Björk appearing in his place.

Though interest was expressed in reaching a settlement outside of the courts, the two parties were unable to come an agreement as of yet. It is speculated that further attempts and meetings will take place early next year.

The four former members of the band brought the suit against Forge after feeling as though they were underpaid for their time in the group. They are seeking to get Forge to release the band’s accounting from 2011 to 2016.
