The Acacia Strain & Sworn In’s Latest Albums See Considerable Dip In First Week Sales

The first week sales numbers are in for The Acacia Strain and Sworn In‘s latest releases. Unfortunately for the bands, both albums saw considerable dips when stacked up against the sales of each band’s respective prior efforts.

The Acacia Strain‘s “Gravebloom” shifted an admirable 5,100 units during its first week of availability. While healthy, those sales see a considerable slide from the 9,450 units 2014’s “Coma Witch” shifted during it’s first week. Still, the sales of “Gravebloom” were enough to see the album debut on the Billboard Top 200 at #146.

Meanwhile, Sworn In‘s latest (and first through new label home of Fearless Records) “All Smiles” chalked up 1,500 units sold during its first week. Those sales were also down from the 3,025 its predecessor, 2015’s “The Lovers/The Devil“, moved during its first week. The sales of “All Smiles” weren’t enough to see it chart on the Billboard Top 200. Both bands have been touring this summer on the annual ‘Vans Warped Tour‘.
