What appears to be a genuine copy of the lawsuit filed against Ghost frontman Papa Emertius (Tobias Forge) by various former members of the band—Simon Söderberg (Alpha), Mauro Rubino (Air), Henrik Palm (Ether) and Martin Hjertstedt (Earth)—has surfaced online via Reddit (download here.) Reddit user Joppe777 has gone through the trouble of translating the documents from Swedish to English, here’s what was shared:

Earlier today (April 06th,) one of those former members, Simon Söderberg, who appeared as Alpha, issued this statement on the matter. Essentially the suit spells out what Söderberg summed up in his earlier statement.

He and the other former members of the band involved in the suit are seeking for Forge to turn over the financial records and revenues of the band from 2011 up until December 31st, 2016. They seek to do so to prove their allegations that Forge had been lying about the bands revenues to his own benefit and allegedly cheating the rest of the band out of their money owed.

To that end the various former members allege that they were part of a partnership with Forge in the band, though Forge is said to have disputed that such partnership exists via his lawyer in December of last year. The former members seek to prove that such a partnership was real and that they should be entitled to a certain share of the profits earned during their time in the band per the disputed arrangement.

Though not shared publicly along with the in the copy of the suit available, various emails from Forge dated from 2011 onwards on the matter are listed as evidence in the suit.
