Nails Frontman: “We Never Went On Hiatus”

In a very brief statement given to Metal Hammer, Nails vocalist/guitarist Todd Jones mentions that despite the widespread rumors this summer, the band never went on hiatus. He told the site:

“We never went on hiatus, we just cancelled a bunch of dates.”

Earlier this summer, the band cancelled all their dates and effectively went radio silent. Their tourmates at the time, Full Of Hell, offered the following explanation:

“Important: Unfortunately this show has been cancelled. Nails have gone on hiatus with no plan to play live or record again. For refunds, please contact your point of purchase.”

Venues they had booked at the time also took to issuing a similar statement. Currently the band are scheduled to return to the stage later this year at ‘The Power Of The Riff‘ festival, which will take place December 17th-18th at the Regent Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. They will also be releasing a new split 7″ with Full Of Hell in December as well.
