Izzy Stradlin On His Absence From Guns N' Roses Reunion: "They Didn't Want To Split The Loot Equally"

Earlier this week a Globo TV interview with Guns N’ Roses vocalist Axl Rose and bassist Duff McKagan made the rounds (see below) in which Rose was asked why ex-guitarist Izzy Stradlin wasn’t a part of the band’s ongoing ‘Not In This Lifetime Tour‘. Rose commented in the video:

“I don’t really know what to say about Izzy. It’s like you could have a conversation and think it’s one way and the next day it’s another way. And I’m not trying to take any shots at Izzy. It’s just his thing is kind of his thing, whatever that is.”

Stradlin has bluntly since responded via Twitter with the following:

Bullshit
They didn’t want to split the loot equally . Simple as that . Moving right along……..

As reported earlier today, the ‘Not In This Lifetime Tour‘, has been a staggering success, routinely grossing millions of dollars per show.
