It looks as though American Head Charge have been experiencing some considerable volatility with an exodus of members. Guitarist Ted Hallows announced his departure earlier this week:
“It is with a heavy heart today that I’ve made the decision to part ways with American Head Charge.

Drummer Chris Emery—who had previously been fired from the band back in 2006 before returning—also announced his departure a day later, with the following statement:
“Well I was going to wait but here goes. I have made the decision to quit playing for AHC. I’m not going to explain or field a thousand questions. Just know I love you all and held out as long as I could.”
The band had just completed a tour alongside Motograter supporting their latest release, “Tango Umbrella“, which hit stores earlier this year. That said, they have been working on a new music video for their track “Drowning Under Everything” in recent weeks.
