It seems a bit odd to say it, but Dead By Wednesday‘s new album “Darkest Of Angels” features eleven tracks with eleven different vocalists. As the album was coming together, the group parted ways with their frontman Joe Morbidelli due to his battles with substance abuse. Deciding to move forward, they reached out to numerous friends to help flesh out the tracks, with each vocalist tackling the theme of addiction and substance abuse in their lyrics.

The band have since found a new frontman in Rob Roy, who appears on “The Surgeon“. Megadeth bassist David Ellefson has signed a distribution and marketing deal with the group for the May 20th release of the effort, which will arrive in conjunction with Mindsnap Music and THC : Music. As for the guest vocalists, the below roster have been tapped for the effort, while two tracks are now streaming, including the aforementioned “The Surgeon” and “Darkest Angel“—the latter featuring John Arch of Fates Warning.

Brian Fair (Shadows Fall)
Carley Coma (Candiria)
AK (Flotsam And Jetsam)
John Arch (Fates Warning)
Rob Dukes (Generation Kill, ex-Exodus)
Waylon Reavis (ex-Mushroomhead)
