A report running over at entlawdigest.com (thanks MetalSucks) has word that Earache Records is suing Century Media Records. The two labels entered into a U.S licensing agreement early last year which saw Century Media take over the distribution of  Earache‘s physical catalog in the United States.

According to the report, Earache claims that Century Media owe them $250,000 in licensing fees and broke a promise to release numerous albums from the labels catalog. Century Media for their part are said to have claimed that the Earache breached the original licensing agreement.

Earache meanwhile also allege that Century Media have failed to account for royalties in a timely manner and went so far as to set release dates and album artwork for their albums without their own approval. They are seeking an injunction and the $250,000 in damages according to the report.
