The “Metal Masters 4” event took place in New York City, NY last night, September 07th. Held at The Gramercy Theatre, the event featured collaborative performances from the following musicians:
Phil Anselmo (Down, ex-Pantera)
Kerry King (Slayer)
Dave Lombardo (Slayer)
Charlie Benante (Anthrax)
Frank Bello (Anthrax)
Scott Ian (Anthrax)
Gary Holt (Exodus, Slayer)
Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big, etc.)
Among the songs tackled were a series of staples from various bands, including: Pantera (“Mouth For War“, “Five Minutes Alone“, “A New Level“, Goddamn Electric” and “Fucking Hostile“); Anthrax (“Room For On More“); Slayer (“Chemical Warfare, “War Ensemble“, Angel Of Death” and “Raining Blood“) and Stormtroopers Of Death (“Kill Yourself” and “Sergeant D & The S.O.D.“).
