Limp Bizkit Preview New Song “Endless Slaughter”, Fred Durst Hangs With Philip Anselmo

Limp Bizkit previewed their new song “Endless Slaughter” (footage below) to the crowd as part of a video shoot during their June 10th set in Haarlem NET. That track is featured on a cassette-only release from the band available shortly—if not already—at their live shows. Meanwhile, in a move likely to ruffle the denim of metal’s old guard, Limp Bizkit‘s Fred Durst apparently recently hung out backstage at a festival with Philip H Anselmo (Down, ex-Pantera, etc.) and Sepultura bassist Paulo Jr.. Head past the break for photographic evidence of that:

If Fred Durst wasn’t a dickhead, I might like this. Although, I have heard he has humbled himself a bit. Wes is a stand up, dude.

Alright, it’s not bad.. Still sounds like something I was listening to while I was going through puberty.

Lose of fame and money humbled him. But at least it happened. Also just because it sounds like something you listened to during puberty doesn’t mean that’s negative. If you went through puberty through the early to late 90′s then there was just a lot better music then.

Regarding the Phil thing, I’m good with it. These guys just sit around all day backstage at the European festivals, makes sense they’d get along regardless of what genre they’re lumped into. Not that the photo suggests anything but Fred asking for a photo with these dudes.
