Slaughter To Prevail vocalist Alex Terrible got both in the ring and on the stage yesterday (May 06th) for the first-ever ‘Blood4Blood‘ event. Held in conjunction with Danny Wimmer Presents & Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, Terrible set out to marry the worlds of metal and bare knuckle fighting at that event, which took place at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, FL.

More surprisingly though was Terrible‘s vow to not only fight in the ring at that event, but also play a set with his aforementioned Russian deathcore band on the same day. True to his word, he accomplished both. When it came to the metal side of the event, Black Label Society, Crowbar and Malevolence were also booked for the event.

As for Terrible‘s fight, he proved unsuccessful in besting Camreon “The Bull” Delano, who know boasts a 2-0 win/loss record. Some highlights from yesterday’s fight can be seen below. In a post-fight interview, Terrible told the audience:

“Listen guys, a lot of people says I’m tough — I’m not tough. I’m scared literally of everything, but I try to fight my fears. This is why I do this sh*t, you know what I mean?”

Speaking in a video posted on his social media today, Terrible went on to say [transcribed by theprp.com]:

“Yes I lost. It’s sad. I’m f*cking sad, but at the same time I don’t feel shame, because I believe I did everything I could do. And Camreon, respect. You hit like a f*cking bull, look at my face [laughs] you motherf*cker [laughs.] And my plan was to perform before the fight and after the fight, but venue said no.

I could do that easily, even with this f*cking face. So ‘Rockville‘ and ‘Sonic Temple‘, ‘Sonic Temple‘ don’t stress. I will be there. I will give you my energy 100% and I will see you there. Respect for all the fighters who fought yesterday. Respect for all the bands [that] played yesterday. I believe we made history guys. Thank you for your support. Haters: this is your best day in your f*cking life [laughs.] My ass got whooped, again. 2-2 bare knuckles, f*ck yeah.”
