Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst can be both seen and heard in the newly released video for a remix of Lauren Sanderson‘s rap rock single “COME SAY SUM“. That pairing appears to have come about organically, with Durst having taken note of the track on social media. Both it and it’s self-described ‘Lez Bizkit’-styled music original music video harkened back to Limp Bizkit‘s own clip for their 1999 hit “Break Stuff“.
The original studio version of this song will appear on Sanderson‘s forthcoming new album “LAUREN“, which is headed for a May 29th release. It was that track opened the door not only to this remix with Durst, but has also landing Sanderson the opening spot during Limp Bizkit‘s October 11th & 12th shows at The Truth in Nashville, TN.
Speaking of getting to work with Durst on this remix, Sanderson stated:
“Did I know this song had magic in it? Yes. Did I think Fred Durst would discover it and bring my Lez Bizkit dreams to life? Probably not,” she commented.”
“Ever since the first conversation Fred and I had, I knew this friendship was created by the universe. Some people just have that magic, and when you put Fred & I together… We are what you call a serendipitous collision.”
