Nice best of set, but i’d love to be hearing something new from them soon. Looks like they still have it live too.
This set list looks very tired. This is pretty much the same set they played when I saw them in Chicago on the Battle of LA tour twelve years ago, minus Vietnow and Ghost of Tom Ghoad(?) . All these songs do slay live, but I’d be enticed to go see them if again if they played a few deep cuts like Ashes in the Fall, New Millennium Homes, Roll Right, Snake Charmer, Take the Power Back, Wake Up…… – on an ending note, Rage fans tend to know most of their catalog, so I don’t think they’re would be much disappointment with a half greatest hits, half deep cuts set list. Down Rodeo – Zack sounds a little tired, and his rhythm is off, and not the good kind where it sounds intentional.
I saw them when they last played Coachella and i can’t say they were the strongest band I’ve seen. Even when I saw them in 1999 at Woodstock
There are notable Greatest Hit songs missing, No Shelter and Renegades of Funk. If I had a wishlist for them it’d be to add Born of a Broken Man, The Ghost of Tom Joad, Kick out the Jams, and War Within a Breath.
It was pretty much the same set as Coachella, but with Know Your Enemy swapped in for Renegades of Funk. I’m pretty sure their Rock the Bells set wasn’t only a little more different, with Vietnow and Tire Me mixed in. I’d love to see them mix it up more these days too, though a proper full headlining set from them would be ideal.

Btw, sound guy fucked up hard during their set. Rage takes the stage, Testify starts up, and during that first minute or so the sound cut out completely 2 or 3 times for about 10 seconds each. Quite the buzzkill right as the crowd was really getting hyped.
