Disturbed Planning Hiatus, Singer Speaks On Possible Break Up

Disturbed frontman David Draiman has been quite vocal as of late regarding the bands planned hiatus for the next year or two. When asked about the groups future plans earlier this month Draiman told Boise, Idaho radio station KQXR:

“…This is gonna be the last tour that the American people get to see us in for awhile, if not indefinitely. We have some things going on internally, we have some personal things going on. So I don’t know. It’s hard to tell . . . But you’re not gonna see a Disturbed tour for awhile.”

Since then Draiman has fielded a number of fan enquires as to their plans via his Twitter account. When asked when the bands next album was due, Draiman replied:

“NO IDEA. YOURE LUCKY YOU CAUGHT US THIS YEAR. WE WON’T BE TOURING NEXT YEAR, OR THE YEAR AFTER FOR THAT MATTER”

Meanwhile, when asked by a fan about the breakup rumors, Draiman offered:

“WE JUST DONT KNOW. ALL I CAN TELL YOU US THAT YOU CERTAINLY WON’T SEE US FOR QUITE A WHILE”
