As previously reported, the group worked on the score with composers Marco Beltrami and John Powell. A new EP comprised of four of the bands tracks written for the film dubbed, “Jonah Hex: Revenge Gets Ugly EP“, will see a release on June 29th. Digital versions of the release will feature an additional two bonus tracks.

I haven’t heard much Mastodon, but what I have I didn’t care for. That being said, I’m digging this Indian Theme a lot.
The music is probably a reason alone for me to see this film. Too bad the movie looks to have fallen out of favor with both the paying audience and critics. But maybe they’re all wrong. I mean, it can’t be worse than Wild Wild West?
4.3/10 @ imdb, the movie HAS to be bad
@lllslinklll – Really? Try soaking in Blood Mountain for a while, then check out Crack The Skye (if you haven’t already). Good stuff man. @allichs – Yikes, really? I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the movie, but 4.3 at IMDB… I might have to scratch it from the “Might see” list. I’m a reformed comics junkie and a current Mastodon addict, so that was really the only 2 reasons to go see this. And seeing whatsherface “act” as a whore would’ve been fun.
Good stuff….I’ll have to pick up the EP….but apparently not see the movie.
Not that I expected a Megan Fox movie to be all that.
Indian Theme is a let down… but bow down to Crack The Sky. Greatest album of my adult life.
