    • This fucking sucks. Always had the utmost respect for Dio even though I technically missed his “glory” years. Glad that his music will always live on as the best of the early years of metal.

      R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio

Never a big fan of his music, but anyone who has even the slightest appreciation of metal has to give respect where respect is due. Dio did a lot to pave the way. Hell, as Rasputin mentioned above, the guy created the universal symbol of metal. R.I.P.

I always loved dio for two reasons. the man was always the nicest guy in metal, It almost felt like he treated his fans as they were like his real life nieces and nephews, and ofcourse his music was great, Im also thinking about geezer and Tony iommi right now cause they lost a band member!
But He lived a great life, so now its time to celebrate for dio!

I recommend that everyone into metal must raise a glass, share a toast, slam one back, and throw up some mighty horns in the name of DIO. A legend is gone, but what a powerful gift he shared with the world. God bless Ronnie James Dio. \m/

    • The last interview I saw he was as healthly as an elf can look, drinking beer. wtf! Sad day indeed. Now who will take time from their interviews to slam Kiss & Gene Simmons for their greedy ways whenever possible? Who could do it as eloquently or with as much joy? I say we all get drunk and crank holy diver.
