Heavy metal architect Tony Iommi‘s indelible career in music will be celebrated at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in Birmingham, UK on September 17th. Iommi himself will be present to partake in a discussion about the matter, engaging in a conversation with journalist, etc. Gary Newbon, MBE. Iommi is best known as the guitarist of heavy metal pioneers Black Sabbath, who hailed from Birmingham.
This past June saw Iommi awarded the distinction of a Member of the Order of the British Empire, saluting his excellence and community service in the arts.
