A timeframe has been revealed for the planned rescheduled dates of the recently postponed “American Carnage Tour” with Slayer, Megadeth and Testament. The three bands now hope to embark on the trek around August/September, though new dates are currently still pending.

If Slayer dropped off this and Megadeth reunited with Menza, Friedman, Ellefson I’d be down for this.
I’m surprised Megadeth is even going to go along with this, let alone the big 4 tour. I don’t know if Dave Mustaine can accept not being the main act. You know on this tour that Testament is going to open, followed by Megadeth and then Slayer closing it out.
As for the big 4, I know Anthrax will gladly accept opening, but it will have to be followed by Megadeth, Slayer, and then Metallica. Unless they decide amongst themselves to rotate the order of the acts, I wouldn’t be surprised to see that tour go down in flames.
I’m not saying the band order is or isn’t my personal preference, but it’s just common sense. I’ve seen Metallica a dozen times, and I’ve never seen them open for anyone other than Guns N Roses, and there isn’t a metal band out there that can draw like Metallica.
