The Dillinger Escape Plan‘s Ben Weinman called into Metal Injection‘s recent Livecast to talk about the groups forthcoming new studio album and more. While not quick to divulge many pressing details; Weinman did mention that ex-Fenix TX guitarist James Love is a potential candidate for the groups currently vacant rhythm guitar spot.
Love previously sat in with the band during their “Plagiarism” EP sessions and some scattered touring. He most recently took to the stage with the band during their set at the “California Metalfest VI“. For now the band continue to hammer away at their new album with producer Steve Evetts (Glassjaw, Every Time I Die). They will release it next year through Party Smasher Inc./Sumerian Records.
