For a band as overtly religious as For Today it may come as a surprise that guitarist Mike Reynolds was not exactly firm in his faith. According to a series of tweets he made late last night:
“I was a non believer for most my time in For Today, praying for the sick, seeing miracles, preaching a gospel, but disconnected from God.My disconnect was my pride and offense at Gods word. I read what I believed instead of believing what I read. His gospel says that no one who refuses to follow Him and know Him as he prescribes would be spared. Miracles, preaching, praying, and whatever else was fraudulent until I came to follow Him and to bend to His commands.”
