Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe has officially been released on $400,000 U.S. bail from the Czech Republic prison he has been held in for over a month. Martina Lhotakova, spokeswoman for Prague’s Municipal Court confirmed the news. As did the band themselves. Blythe‘s release upholds a previous court decision which was recently challenged by prosecutors.
He has since left the country and is headed home with various photos of him boarding a plane out of the country available at Blesk.cz. Blythe was held for over a month on suspicions of manslaughter in relation to the death of a 19 year old fan who suffered fatal injuries at a 2010 show the band played in Prague, Czech Republic. The fan was shown to have numerous onstage interactions with both Blythe and the venue’s security.
