Following in the footsteps of Live Without and Blink-182, nü-metal revivalists Silly Goose played a Denny’s yesterday, November 07th. That unconventional booking was approved by the aforementioned diner chain, after the band’s frontman Jackson Foster crashed a Denny’s corporate conference this past September, campaigning for a collaboration with the company.
His plea did not go unanswered, with the group having been booked to play a Norcross, GA location of the diner chain yesterday via a ‘Goose Slam’ collaboration. Silly Goose used the show as an opportunity to film a music video for the song “Goodnight” — a single which they released this past May.
While Silly Goose‘s penchant for guerilla shows has already seen them perform at a variety of fast food restaurants, gas station parking lots, and more, yesterday’s special show marked one of the rare times they had explicit permission directly from head office.
In other news, Silly Goose have also announced the details for ‘Goose Fest‘. The band will headline that January 16th fest at SkateATL in their hometown of Atlanta, GA. Further bands booked include:
Yosemite In Black
Actus Reus
Intension
Bummer Hill
All I Hear Is Birds
Zoe Bayani
Barbwire Angel
77tth Try
Glass Edge
