Midwestern Christian metalcore group Convictions have made the jump to UNFD. The group, who describe their music as ‘aggressive worship’, combined this signing reveal with the debut of a Jake Erwin-directed music video for their single “Atonement“. Their thoughts on that track can be found below:
“‘Atonement‘ is about coming to terms with the sacrifices we’ve made, the weight of our decisions, and the scars we’ve collected along the way. It’s about accepting the cost of holding on to faith, pursuing our purpose, and continuing this journey through music despite the hardships. There’s even a moment in the song where we reference our own band name, Convictions, as a declaration of who we are and what we stand for. Ultimately, it’s about taking ownership of our journey, making peace with the path we’ve chosen, and remaining unwavering in our convictions.”
The band have secured one of the opening slots on Born Of Osiris and Miss May I‘s fall co-headlining run. That trek will see Born Of Osiris playing 15th anniversary shows for their sophomore record, “The Discovery“. Downswing will also be on that bill, with the trek set to begin tomorrow, November 06th, in Pontiac, MI.
