The clock is officially ticking on Ministry‘s final act. The industrial metal legends have just released their last studio album “Hate To Go – Take Out Or Delivery“. Farewell touring from the band is already underway and according to their frontman Al Jourgensen, the group will hang it up exactly a year from today, October 30th, 2026. Jourgensen recently revealed that a guest-filled farewell performance at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA on October 30th, 2027 will cap off the group’s career.
For now though, the band have newly issued a music video for “Crickets“, the latest single from that just released swan song record. The services of director Dean Karr (Korn, Ozzy Osbourne) were utilized for that clip. Jourgensen said of this latest decision to call it quits:
“I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished.I’m amazed at the path that it’s taken, from ‘With Sympathy‘ to where we’re at today, and all points in between. It’s been quite a ride, but I’m completely at peace with the fact that it’s done.”
