A memorial service for the late Andy Williams is set to be held at the Buffalo Riverworks in Buffalo, NY on September 27th. The beloved musician/professional wrestler, known for his work in Every Time I Die, Atomic Rule, AEW and more, tragically passed away last weekend after suffering a medical emergency while performing at a professional wrestling event. He was 48.
Free tickets for this celebration of life are available now via andywilliamsforever.com, where merch celebrating the big man can also be obtained. 100% of the proceeds from those orders will go towards charities Williams was passionate about. Donations are also being accepted via that site.
As for the celebration of his life, musical talent will come by way of acoustic sets from Cave In‘s Stephen Brodsky & Adam McGrath, Four Year Strong‘s Dan O’Connor and Alan Day, and Anthony Green (Circa Survive, L.S. Dunes). Further performers are planned.
A video tribute for Andy is also being prepared for the memorial, with submissions being accepted. The following was said of that:
‘Do you have a great story about Andy you want to share? Maybe a pic of you and the big man? We will be playing a video tribute at this event and want to include as many amazing stories and pics as we can – please Email a short video (Under 3 minutes) or pic to [email protected] and we will try to include as many as we can.’
